During this project you will aim to develop an animated sequence, showcasing the full range of your skills as a specialist and/or generalist practitioner. Research and development of professional practices involved in your area and technique specialism will be required to create an animated sequence.
The animated sequence is required to showcase your range of skills however specific or wide ranging. Through research you will define the appropriate form for the showcase of your skills.
Research into your intended industry role is required to define the appropriate means to showcase your skills and establish the expectations of the role. You will also identify skills to develop further.
Studying multiple examples of historical and contemporary formats for showcasing skills is essential to establish good practice.
Submission:
By the end of this project you should have the following work completed which will become part of your submission at the end of the unit:
- ● Project Proposal Form according to the template.
- ● Experimentation and Progression Reel a reel of moving image work demonstrating
the key development aspects and stages of your project. - ● Personal Showcase animated sequence with sound design. Quicktime.
- ● Research Portfolio a link to your blog demonstrating sustained engagement with
research and development towards the successful outcomes, including a weekly
summary critiquing research, development and further planning. - ● Reflective Journal a PDF extracted from your research blog containing all weekly
summaries and a final critical evaluation of the project, with a suggested word count of 250 words.
